Bio

Samuele Lucidi is a PhD Fellow in Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli University. He holds a BA in Political Sciences and International Relations from Sapienza University of Rome, an MA in Politics, Institutions and Market from the University of Florence, and an MA (II Level) in Political and Social Sciences from Scuola Normale Superiore, jointly awarded with Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. His research focuses on political parties, social movements, and their interactions.

Research

His research focuses on political parties, social movements, and their interactions. His PhD project, Between Movements and Parties: Measuring Party Movementism in Western Democracies, examines the transformation of political parties and the development of forms of party movementization in Western democracies. His research also addresses movement-parties, organisational and discursive transformations of political parties, as well as the radical and extreme right.
