Bio

I am a researcher in Political Science and PhD student at the Open University of Catalonia. Previously, I have completed my studies at the University of Valencia, and the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and I have collaborated with think tanks and political foundations. As a researcher, my main interests are political participation and political actors, with a special focus on parties. My current research lines are focused on the digitalisation of political parties and its effects on participation and linkage functions. I am also an active member of the COST Action Relink-2 and the DIGIPOL project.

Research

My research explores the impact of digital technologies on the organisation of political parties, intra-party democracy functions, membership and electoral campaigning, with a focus on European and Spanish parties. In this vein, my ongoing main projects encompass the mapping of digital technology adoption by European and Latin American parties, and analysing party communication, campaigning strategies and digital ecosystems in Spain.
