Bio
Joined CEVIPOL in October 2025 as a new Mini-Arc fellow to start my PhD exploring the resistance of social actors (social movements, trade unions, NGOs) to processes of autocratisation, under the supervision of Luca Tomini.

Obtained a Master in European Affairs from Sciences Po Paris in 2024, with a Thesis titled: “A genocide can’t be watched; it has to be stopped.” European Progressive Social Movements’ responses to Israel’s attacks on Palestine. A Framing Analysis. Before that, I graduated from a BA in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield, with a Thesis titled: Explaining violence in the Evros border region. A case study of Pushbacks.

My research has evolved along the lines of an analysis of the state of democracy, from a substantive approach, with an emphasis on the role of social actors in defining its trajectory. In parallel to my research, I have had practical experience in advocacy-oriented grassroot organisations like the Border Violence Monitoring Network, as well as in transnational organising in initiatives as the European Common Space for Alternatives.
