Bio
I am currently a PhD student in social and political sciences, and I have been awarded a FNRS Aspirant grant. Building upon the rich tradition of feminist peace and conflict studies, my work analyses grassroots peacebuilding, from the perspective of the daily lives of women victims of the conflict in rural areas of Colombia. I am mainly interested in the ways in which they resist and the actions they engage in to foster "everyday peace", amidst numerous marginalisations and instances of violence. I collect data through extensive fieldwork and my research process is informed by feminist methodologies.
