Bio
Emma Collet is a doctoral student in political science at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), within CEVIPOL. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a two-year master's degree in political science, for which she wrote her dissertation on territorial affective polarisation in Belgium, an experience that sparked her lasting interest in political psychology.
During her master's, she also developed a strong interest in quantitative methods, leading her to pursue a specialised master's degree in quantitative methods at KU Leuven. There, she wrote her thesis on the links between femo-nationalist attitudes and the far-right vote in the Netherlands.
She is now an Aspirant FNRS, supervised by Pietro Castelli-Gattinara (CEVIPOL, ULB) and Ruth Dassonneville (Voting and Democracy Research Group, KU Leuven). Her doctoral research builds on this trajectory, focusing on the relationship between political attitudes and voting behaviour — in particular, anti-feminist attitudes and the far-right vote.
