Bio

I have been Faculty member in the Political Science Department of ULB since 2010 (Professor since 2022). I am a researcher at the Centre d’études de la vie politique (CEVIPOL) et the Institute for European Studies (IEE-ULB). I am also the academic coordinator of our Master’s in European studies (president of the admission and deliberation jury). Since 2017 I am a visiting professor at the College of Europe (Bruges) where I currently teach a course on the EU social policy making. Finally, I was appointed associate researcher with the European Social Observatory.

Coming from Lyon in France, my studies have led me to Berlin, then Bruges and Brussels, where I completed a PhD in Political and Social Sciences at ULB.

My work deals with the economic governance and social policy of the European Union. Beyond scientific publications, I try to disseminate my research and expertise by collaborating with think tanks or political and social organization, by contributing to public debate online platforms (e.g. The Conversation or Social Europe), and by responding to queries from the Belgian and international media.
