Bio
Alena Prokop Sobotova is in charge of the courses « Final Disertation Seminar » and « Introduction to Research in Political Science ». She obtained her PhD diploma in 2017 at Université libre de Bruxelles. Her research focused on the relationship between the European Union and the media, with particular emphasis on the study of journalists from Central and Eastern Europe and their uneven socialisation to Brussels working environment. Her research interests include political sociology of Europe, European identity, European public space and EU communication policy. In addition to her strong links with CEVIPOL and the ULB, Alena has been teaching at ESPOL, Lille.
