Bio

Stine Hesstvedt (PhD) is a senior researcher at the Institute for Social Research in Oslo. Her research focuses on elections, representation and policy making. Working in the intersection between political science and public administration, she takes interest in the politics of expert advice and expert decision-making. Hesstvedt is part of the Norwegian National Election Study (NNES), where she leads the team’s research on political elites and political representation. She is also part of the research project INFLUEX - The Influence of Experts on Policymaking (Norwegian Research Council, 2023-2027).
