Bio
Anemona Constantin est docteure en science politique de l’Université Paris Nanterre.
Croisant histoire des idées et sociologie politique, mes recherches portent sur les mobilisations des intellectuels conservateurs et libéraux via des think-tanks et des réseaux transnationaux reliant l’Europe, les Etats-Unis, le Canada et l’Amérique Latine. Mes travaux s’intéressent également aux processus mémoriels, à la (ré)écriture de l’histoire et aux usages politiques et intellectuels des passés fasciste et communiste en Europe Centrale et Orientale, notamment en Roumanie, Bulgarie et République de Moldavie, après la chute du Mur de Berlin en 1989.
Membre du projet “How the European Union copes with ‘identity politics’. The example of the “European way of life” as a new legitimizing narrative (2019-2024)” (PI François Foret).

Anemona Constantin holds a PhD in political science from the University of Paris Nanterre.
Combining social history of ideas and political sociology, my research focuses on the current mobilizations of conservative and liberal intellectuals through think-tanks and transnational networks linking Europe, the United States, Canada and Latin America. I am also interested in processes of memory building, democratization and dealing with authoritarian past in Central and Eastern Europe, especially in Romania, Bulgaria and the Republic of Moldova, in the aftermath of 1989.
