Bio

Laura is a PhD candidate in political science at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), affiliated with Cevipol (Centre d'Étude de la Vie Politique) and the IEE (Institute for European Studies). In her research, she focuses on European agencies in EU Justice and Home Affairs. Her dissertation examines the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). She has worked as a teaching assistant for the Department of Political Science where she taught a seminar on academic writing. Since October 2020, she holds a mandate as F.N.R.S. Research Fellow. She graduated in 2019 with an M.A. in European Studies at the IEE (ULB). For her master’s thesis, she conducted a quantitative study of the ideological positioning of European regionalist parties. She also holds a B.A. double degree from Saarbrücken University (Germany) and Université de Lorraine (Metz/France).
