Politologue, professeur à temps plein à l'École des Sciences Humaines, Université Pontificale Catholique du Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), à Porto Alegre, Brésil. Membre permanent du corps professoral e directeur de thèse dans le Programme d'études supérieures en sociologie et science politique (PPG SCP, PUCRS). Docteur en science politique de l'Université Fédérale du Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Chercheur co-leader du groupe de recherche OAPOC - Observatoire de l'action collective transnationale et de la politique comparée (PUCRS - CNPq), participant aux groupes World Values Survey - WVS Brazil (UFRGS - CNPq) et Comportement et Institutions Politiques (UFRGS - CNPq).
